Join CiS

CiS offers opportunities for smart, professional team players. We encourage cross-training and offer career pathways across the following areas:

FIELD SERVICES
If you enjoy working outdoors, have a solid technical telecoms background, a practical way of finding solutions and are a stickler for safety then a career in the field supporting our Telecoms Design services will be for you. We provide opportunities for Field Scopers (including trainees), Field Managers and Construction Supervisors.
DESIGN
The word design can mean different things to different sectors and telecommunications is no exception. To CiS, Telecoms Design means developing solutions to client issues, often as a result of validation works undertaken in the field. A designer will use their technical knowledge, known best practice and client guidelines to produce the best solution.
PROPERTY SERVICES
A key part of the CiS's Telecoms Design offering is the support offered by our Property Services people. These specialists may perform heritage, environment or cultural checks, or serve access notices to property owners or authorities. People in these roles often have town planning, environmental or similar backgrounds or are graduates in these areas.
SUPPORT
Project Co-ordination, Resource Scheduling, Access and Engagement, Health & Safety Administration as well as HR and Finance all play key roles in ensuring CiS delivers successfully to our clients and performs exceptionally as a business. They are vital roles to support the field and other parts of the business.
ENGINEERING
Field, Project or Network Engineers perform Technical Consulting work across planning, design, project management, operations and other technical areas. CiS has engineers working onsite at carriers, in the field and in the office performing high level work. In addition our Wireless Networks services includes the supply of tower, masts and monopoles, requiring skills in RF and structural engineering.
CAD/DRAFTING
CiS has many of our people translating field and design solutions - often complex - into CAD files, using AutoCAD but also other software such as Visio and MapInfo. They may also be interacting with a carriers GIS and/or inventory system using SpatialNet or QGiS. Fast and accurate computer skills, an interest in design and attention to detail are required.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Many of our services require Project Management expertise. We have delivered thousands of minor programs of work - and do so every day - right through to large complex long-term projects. In the past this has included establishing a program office for the rollout of 350 mobile base stations in Indonesia. Roles include technical consultants through to project managers.
